Hello! I'm Donata. I'm an architect by day, watercolour artist by night. I'm also a mom of two sweet girls, and my art is inspired by the things they love, nature and the places we inhabit. I have a degree in fine art, and painting and drawing has always been a passion of mine. However, when it was time to narrow down my major, I decided to become an architect. Over the last 10 years though, my career as an architect has further tuned my artistic personality and style, and today my art is very much inspired by a classical, yet minimal architectural aesthetic that I carry over into my artwork. 

Everything on my website is original and handmade. I am currently not providing prints of my work, however, in certain applications this makes sense, and I'm open to that. 

For my blog, I want to provide some personal inspiration and process posts that might be interesting to read. I'll also be posting some free downloadable patterns and illustrations in the form of stationery, planners, digital work that you can use in your day to day. I'll also try to post tips and progress posts for how I create certain pieces, and how I use watercolour and ink pen.
